This is an English translation provided for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process and why

2.1. Contact form

The form on the website collects: name, email address, type of enquiry and the message you write.

This website does not request data from minors. The form is intended for adults. If your enquiry concerns the school, we will reply to you and the enrolment process is handled outside this website.

2.2. Email and telephone

If you write to our email address or call us, we will process the data you provide for the sole purpose of assisting you.

2.3. WhatsApp communications

We use WhatsApp as our usual channel of communication with students and families. Messages exchanged through it are kept for as long as they are needed for the purpose that prompted them. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., whose privacy policy is outside the scope of this website.

2.4. Third-party data

When a person provides us with another person’s data — for example, that of the adults authorised to collect a student — they undertake to have previously informed that person of the processing described here.

2.5. Website assistant

The site has a conversational assistant that answers frequently asked questions through predefined options. Using it does not require providing any data.

If you choose to leave us your details through it, we collect: name, telephone number and, optionally, email address, together with the reason for the enquiry and the page it was sent from.

The assistant does not use cookies or third-party services. The conversation is stored only in your browser’s temporary memory so that it is not lost when you change page, it is not sent to any server unless you press the send button, and it is deleted when you close the browser.

To prevent automated bulk submissions, the server keeps an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address from which the form is sent for one hour. The IP address itself is not stored and the fingerprint does not allow anyone to be identified. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse.

In addition, an aggregate count is kept of how many times each question is consulted, in order to improve the service. That count includes no personal data of any kind and does not allow an individual’s path to be reconstructed.

3. Recipients of the data

No data is transferred to third parties, except where legally required. The following providers, acting as data processors, do have access to it as necessary to deliver the service:

4. International transfers

Google and Meta services may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw the consent given, by writing to info@flamencorociopozo.com stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you consider that we have not dealt with your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

6. Minors

The services contracted through this website are intended for adults. Training given by Escuela Rocío Pozo is contracted in person and always through the minor’s parent or legal guardian, who gives consent and signs the enrolment.

We do not publish photographs or videos of our students. In the specific cases where this might occur — for example, on Dance Day or at theatre performances — a signed image release is requested in advance from the legal guardian. Where the images are taken by the theatre itself, the processing is that entity’s responsibility.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory changes or changes in how the site works. The date of the latest version appears at the end.
